The Cart Wheels

Wanted one but it was a 'buy one, get one free' offer I couldn't refuse. First journey to Axminster, Mrs W came to help and we stopped off at Route 303 restaurant on the way home for a meal. When we arrived the full scale of the wheels become evident and it was obvious that two would not fit into a white van. Went with the intention of cutting through the axle but once there it would have felt like an act of vandalism. Also warmed to the idea off keeping both to be displayed on the axle. After some brut force and newly found cartwright skills we got one off and into the van.

Second expedition to bring home the second wheel was made easier by assistance from James Westwood and some tools from Jon. Oh yes, and by being told that the remaining wheel nut had a counter clockwise thread.
